Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Closing date: Tuesday 20 October 2015<br \/>\nThere is no entry fee.<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since 1999, the Trieste Contemporanea Committee assigns the Young European Artist Award Trieste Contemporanea to a young Central Eastern European artist with the aim of promoting her or his work on the international art scene. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Now the Award is biennial and open to any <b>young artist aged<\/b> <b>under 30<\/b> (the contestant can also be born in 1985) and born in one of the following countries: <b>Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The award gives the overall winner the opportunity of conceiving and developing a <b>solo show<\/b> for the exhibition space fo Trieste Contemporanea in Trieste, Italy, opening in March 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The artist will also have a <b>monographic catalogue published<\/b> for the solo exhibition and will benefit from professional exposure as a consequence of the award. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">All eligible applications will be examined by a judging committee comprising experts and curators of contemporary art from Central Eastern Europe, who are members of the <b>Continental Breakfast network<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>There is no entry fee.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">All applications have to be filled online and must be received by midnight (Italian time) of the 20th of October 2015. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The competition notice and the online registration\u00a0are available on <a href=\"http:\/\/customer7965.musvc1.net\/e\/t?q=6%3d7YMX%26l%3dQ%265%3dW2X%266%3dW2THY%26u%3d8AMp_HhvP_Sr_KQsg_Uf_HhvP_RwPwM.AKi50Me36Gt54IoHrGe1.zM_rqjs_2658wI.7Ap_HhvP_SwBd_DvPs_Hhv4a1rP_SuU4R_9tSp_IYi4_4_KQsg_VdR_9tSp_IYl_HhvP_Su8%26d%3dCBLv3H.GeJ\"><span class=\"s3\">www.triestecontemporanea.it<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Closing date: Tuesday 20 October 2015 There is no entry fee.
